Kids' Chocolate Birthday Cupcakes
A neighbour gave my mom this recipe over 40 years ago, and I’ve been making it almost that long! These cupcakes are so, so moist and rich, and melt in your mouth delicious! Little pillows of chocolaty deliciousness decorated with cream cheese frosting and sprinkles. You so don't have to be a kid to love these! Serving of 12.

Beer Bread
Two fabulous things rolled into one – why not? Made with local craft ale, this loaf is chewy and moist on the inside with a crispy crust with a Kalamata olive brine wash on the outside. It is the perfect loaf to go with soup, stew, pasta, a cheese platter, or just on its own. Nothing beats a fresh, warm loaf of bread!

Rustic Whole Wheat
A hearty, substantial loaf that is surprisingly moist! This loaf is made with whole wheat flour, oats, flax seeds, and sesame seeds. It is delicious toasted, especially with a bowl of piping hot soup or slathered with lemon curd. But of course it’s best warm from the oven and generously spread with butter! A true comfort food.

Kalamata Olive Bread
This beautiful artisan loaf is full of plump Kalamata olives which give it a salty, earthy flavour and a very moist texture. I give it a splash of craft beer for an added layer of flavour. One thick wedge is never enough!

Focaccia Bread
This light, warm, delicious bread is basted with olive oil and sprinkled with coarse salt, garlic, and rosemary from my garden. Chewy with a lightly crisped bottom, this bread is delicious served with almost anything or just on its own! Available freshly baked or in dough form to bake at your convenience.

Chewy Oat Bars
I make a batch of these at least once a week – it really helps with the dilemma of school lunches, and they make a perfect after school snack. A chewy oat bar sweetened with honey and moist coconut in two flavours: cranberry pumpkin seed, and chocolate chip! Great for packing on hikes, to sports events, or for car trips. 18 bars per box.

Spicy Ginger Bars
These incredible chewy bars have triple ginger: candied stem ginger, fresh squeezed ginger juice, and ground ginger. These bars have a spicy bite that will delight the ginger lover! 18 bars per box.

OUTSIDE THE BOX
Ginger Syrup
As a self-confessed ginger lover, I put this delicious nectar on everything! It has a bite, so beware! It is lovely in tea, over ice cream, in a cocktail, or over fresh fruit. It's also a delicious addition to salad dressings or marinades. Or by the spoonful to soothe a sore throat or settle acid reflux. Serving of 250mL.

Lemon Curd
Another British delight! This tangy, creamy spread is gorgeous on hot buttered toast or scones, mixed with natural yogurt, or as a tart filling. It is also lovely dolloped on some fresh fruit with a slice of sharp cheddar on the side. Serving of 250mL.

Holiday Gift Box
A wonderfully personal gift box with a selection of holiday treats: shortbread cookies (12); lemon curd (250ml); ginger syrup (250ml); cocktail crackers (100g); a trio of locally made compotes (Oregon grape, rosemary, and raisin and apple chutney); spicy gingerbread squares (4); and spicy candied nuts (150g). Available throughout December each year.

Each month, as a DOTM member you will receive a dessert delivered to your door. You won't know what will be in the box in any given month - it's a surprise!
